The most balls used in an art installation is 65,600 spray-painted polystyrene balls, which made up Nike Savvas’ (Australia) Atomic: full of love, full of wonder, (2005) installation, first displayed at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne, Australia between 28 May - 24 July 2005. The balls were suspended on nylon wire and electric fans in the room agitated the balls, causing them to shimmer and reverberate.
