Coldplay (UK) have won nine BRIT awards: Best British Group (2001, 2003, 2012, 2016); Best British Album of the Year for Parachutes (2001), A Rush of Blood to the Head (2003) and X&Y (2006); Best British Single of the Year for “Speed of Sound” (2006); and Best British Live Act (2013). Chris Martin’s stadium rockers have attracted 30 BRITs nominations in total, including nine for Best British Group (2001–22).


Take That won eight BRIT awards in 1993–2011.

Coldplay were nominated for Best British Group and Best British Rock/Alternative Act at the 42nd BRIT Awards on 8 February 2022, but those awards went to Wolf Alice and Sam Fender, respectively.
