The World Pillow Fighting Championships in Kenwood, California, USA is the longest running annual competition of its kind, with its 40th tournament held on 4th July 2006. Each year, approximately 100 pillow fighters battle it out with wet, muddy pillows whilst sitting astride a steel pole placed over a mud-filled creek!
