The most century breaks in a snooker tournament is 16, achieved by Stephen Hendry (UK) at the 2002 World Snooker Championship; and equalled by Mark Williams (UK) at the 2022 World Snooker Championship, both at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK.

Hendry knocked in 16 breaks of 100 or more on his way to the final of the 2002 World Championship, which he lost to Peter Ebdon. Williams equalled Hendry's mark during his run to the semi-finals at the 2022 event, compiling six in his second-round victory over Jackson Page, a joint-record in a best-of-25-frames match.
