In 2018, Drake (Canada, b. Aubrey Drake Graham) clocked 29 weeks at No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, surpassing a record that had been owned by Usher (28 weeks) since 2004. Drake got there with three singles, all taken from his fifth studio album Scorpion: “God’s Plan” (11 weeks), “Nice for What” (eight non-consecutive weeks) and “In My Feelings” (10 weeks).
Drake also holds the record for the most US singles chart entries (329, as of 20 April 2024).
