The youngest X-Games gold medallist (male) is Gui Khury (Brazil, b. 18 December 2008), who won Skateboard Vert Best Trick aged 12 years 210 days at X Games 2021 in Vista, California, USA, on 16 July 2021. This is also the overall record.
Khury saw off eight other competitors – including 53-year-old skateboarding legend Tony Hawk – to win Skateboard Vert Best Trick, becoming the first skater in history to land a 1080 in competition without the aid of a mega ramp.
