The most people performing CPR in one hour is 434 and was achieved by Central London Alliance (UK) in London, UK, on 23 September 2026.
There were six mannequins for attendees to perform CPR on, all overseen by St John Ambulance staff and GWR Adjudicator Caitlin Hyem.
Each participant learned how to perform the life-saving method successfully before completing their required 30 seconds of hands-only CPR.
Nadia Perrier, Director of Central London Alliance, said: “We are equipping thousands of people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to save a life. The record is one moment. What we have created over these two days will last a lifetime.
“If even one person uses what they have learned to save a life, then this campaign will have achieved something far more important than a world record. It will have changed a family’s story forever - that is the real legacy.”
