The world's most successful international show dog is Jucki who has won 'best in show' in 67 championships on 5 continents over a period of 9 years (1992-2001). Jucki is a female German Shepherd owned by Sharon, Elizabeth, Holly Anne and Neal D. Leas (all USA) of Redfield, Iowa, USA. Jucki's full name is: '4X V-1 World, C67 Champion Jucki von der Freiheit Westerholt, SchHI'(registration number is 7130869). She was born on 26 November 1990 in Germany, and purchased by Neal Leas in June 1992. Jucki even has her own Citibank credit card! All of her wins are endorsed by the Union Cynologique Internationale (UCI) and the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI). Amongst the many countries she has won in are: Equador (1993), Russia (1994), Morocco (1995) Monaco (1997), Canada (2000), Portugal (2001). (NB - Russia is classed as 'Asia' by the UCI and FCI). Jucki could not perform at Crufts or in Australia due to the strict quarantine laws. Jucki retired on 4 November 2001 following her final show. The Leas family are well known to Guinness World Records, featuring in the stop press of the 1986 book (p.309) and in the 1988 book with their previous top dog, 'Ch. Clayfield's Mon Ami'.
