The largest human image of a grapevine is 493 and was achieved by IP "Oficiul Național al Viei și Vinului" (Moldova), in Chișinău, the Republic of Moldova, on 3 October 2026.

The grapevine was chosen as a powerful symbol of Moldova’s wine heritage, while creating it through a human formation to represent unity, collaboration and shared achievement. Wine is deeply rooted in Moldova’s national identity and reflects its traditions, culture and hospitality. The attempt was organised as part of the 25th edition of National Wine Day, Moldova’s flagship celebration of its wine industry and one of the country’s most important cultural events.

Under the theme “United by Wine”, this landmark edition brought together more than 100 wineries from across the country to celebrate Moldova’s rich winemaking traditions, vibrant wine culture and remarkable diversity. The image was 40.5 m X 18.8 m (132.87 ft X 61.68 ft) of closely standing participants wearing four distinct colours to highlight the different parts of the grapevine.
