The official attempt took place as an opening event of the 2026 Durian Festival in Dak Lak, Vietnam, which has been held every two years since 2022 across towns in Dak Lak. As part of the festival's theme, each participating truck was filled with local durians. This achievement is a source of pride not only for the farmers and organisers directly involved in the event, but also for the people of Dak Lak and the entire local durian industry.
