The most National Rugby League titles won by a team is three by the Brisbane Broncos, in 1998, 2000 and 2006.
The NRL is the Australia's premier rugby league competition, instituted in 1998. Melbourne Storm won three titles however the two titles won in 2007 and 2009 were subsequently stripped by the NRL in April 2010 for breaching salary cap rules.
