Most slime in a music video

The most slime in a music video is 200 litres (52.8 gal), achieved by Pictish Trail (UK, b. Johnny Lynch) for his track "Life Slime" in Glasgow, UK, on 22 February 2026.

Pictish Trail is an electro-acoustic psych-pop musician from the Isle of Eigg in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. "Life Slime" is the title track of his sixth full-length album.

During six hours of filming, Johnny had 170 litres (44.9 gal) of pink goo poured over his head before submerging himself in a 30-litre (7.9-gal) slime bath.

The music video was produced by Beth Allan of the BAFTA-winning production company, Forest of Black. Allan said: “We wanted to capture quite a simple and direct performance from Johnny in this one, so the set-up is clean and graphical and we were privileged to get some very real emotions. Of course, we also wanted to completely cover him in warm pink slime! And Johnny wanted it too. So we were cooking up huge pots of slime alongside filming.”
