The country with the largest per capita consumption of frozen food is Norway with 35.6 kg (78 lb 6.4 oz) per person as found in studies conducted in 1999. This is followed by Denmark with 32.5kg (71 lb 9.6 oz) per person and the UK with 30.9kg (68 lb 1.6 oz). In comparison, the USA consumes only 16.3 kg (35 lb 14 oz) of frozen food per person.
