Most dogs attending a dog pool party

The most dogs attending a dog pool party is 296 and was achieved by We Love Doodles (USA) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on 27 September 2026.

Goldendoodles, labradoodles and every curly-coated variety in between descended on Las Vegas, as "Doodlepalooza" transformed a pool into the ultimate canine playground – complete with hundreds of wagging tails, soggy paws and extremely pleased expressions.

Entry was no free-for-all. Every four-legged attendee had to pass a mandatory health, age and safety screening conducted by a professional veterinary team before so much as dipping a paw in the water. Tickets were required, club credentials were checked, and strict admission protocols ensured the event remained safe, structured and genuinely enjoyable for all participants – human and dog alike.

Behind the fun was a serious purpose. The event was built around the mission of Doodle Rescue USA, an organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need. Representatives were on hand throughout the day, alongside local pet brand sponsors who provided enrichment items and party bags for canine guests. Several media outlets attended, helping to amplify the message of responsible pet ownership and ethical animal care to a wider audience.

"Seeing hundreds of families and their adorable doodles enjoying the pool together for such a noble cause truly demonstrates the strength and passion of our community," said the organizers.

Guinness World Records Adjudicator Susana Reyes, perhaps unsurprisingly, needed little persuading to attend this particularly attempt! "It was so much fun seeing all those gorgeous, happy pups living their absolute best lives," she said.
