Nine tracks from SOS by SZA (USA, b. Solána Rowe) – including three from the 2024 re-issue SOS Deluxe: Lana, have been nominated for Grammy awards. They are: “Good Days” (Best R&B Song, 2022), “Kill Bill” (Record of the Year/Song of the Year/Best R&B Performance, 2024), “Snooze” (Best R&B Song, 2024), “Low” (Best Melodic Rap Performance, 2024), “Love Language” (Best Traditional R&B Performance, 2024), “Ghost in the Machine” (with Phoebe Bridgers; Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, 2024), “Saturn” (Best R&B Song/Best R&B Performance, 2025), “Crybaby” (Best Traditional R&B Performance, 2026) and “30 for 30” (with Kendrick Lamar; Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, 2026).
With her two most recent nominations, SZA went clear of Beyoncé, whose Cowboy Carter (2024) album produced seven Grammy-nominated tracks. Santana’s Supernatural (6), Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (5) and Michael Jackson’s Thriller (5) come next.
SZA has won three Grammys with tracks from SOS – “Snooze”, “Ghost in the Machine” and “Saturn” (Best R&B Song). All told, she has picked up seven statuettes (from 31 nominations), including two at the 68th Grammy Awards on 1 February 2026 for “Luther”, her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.
If SZA’s 2024 Album of the Year and Best Progressive R&B Album nominations are included, SOS and SOS Deluxe: Lana have attracted more nominations – 14 – than any other album at the Grammys, followed by Thriller (13), Quincy Jones’ The Dude (12) and Cowboy Carter (11). Thriller remains the most-nominated original-version album across all credits.
