Before Live, she starred for over a decade as Hayley Vaughan on ABC’s All My Children, where she became a familiar presence to daytime audiences. She was chosen to replace Kathie Lee Gifford following a high-profile search and officially began co-hosting alongside Regis Philbin on 12 February 2001.
Through her time hosting the show, Ripa has shared the desk with Philbin, as well as Michael Strahan, Ryan Seacrest, and now with her husband, Mark Consuelos, who she originally met on the set of All My Children.
