Gede Priandana (Indonesia) took five wickets – including a hat-trick – for one run in his only over to condemn Cambodia to a 60-run defeat at Udayana Cricket Ground in Bali, Indonesia, on 23 December 2025. Bowling the 16th over of the innings with the visitors on 106 for 5 in pursuit of Indonesia’s 168, the right-arm seamer bagged a hat-trick with the first three balls, including the wicket of Cambodia opener Shah Abrar Hussain. After a dot ball, a fourth wicket and a wide, Priandana brought proceedings to an abrupt end by rattling the timbers of No.11 Pel Vannak for the sixth golden duck of the reply as Cambodia subsided to 107 all out.

Priandana’s 1-0-1-5 saw him become the first cricketer, male or female, to claim five wickets in a T20 International (T20I) over. The 28-year-old went one better than the 14 players who had previously taken four wickets in a T20I over – among them Lasith Malinga’s devastating four in four balls for Sri Lanka against New Zealand on 6 September 2019. Priandana was dismissed for six runs when he opened the Indonesia innings with Dharma Kesuma, named player of the match for scoring 110 not out, but it was Priandana who swung the match decisively in the hosts’ favour. Two players – Al-Amin Hossain (Bangladesh), for UCB BCB XI in the Victory Day T20 Cup on 26 December 2013, and Abhimanyu Mithun (India), for Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 29 November 2019 – had taken five wickets in an over in domestic T20 cricket before Priandana’s feat.
