Rohit Sharma (India) leathered 205 sixes in his T20 International (T20I) career, in 151 innings (159 matches) played between 2007 and his retirement from T20I cricket – as a World Cup-winning captain – on 29 June 2024.
As of 4 December 2025, Rohit remained the only player with 200 sixes in the shortest international format, but his record is likely to come under threat from a number of still-active T20I cricketers, including the United Arab Emirates’ Muhammad Waseem (187), England’s Jos Buttler (172) and India’s Suryakumar Yadav (154). Rohit’s T20I career stats feature 4,231 runs, with a record-equalling five hundreds and 32 fifties, at an average of 32.05 runs per innings. He bowed out of T20Is after lifting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy – as India captain – at the Kensington Oval in Barbados in June 2024.
