Pilot Jan Carboch and co-pilot Michal Vorlíček successfully set a new record, completing 62 uninterrupted loops and surpassing the previous benchmark of 45. The attempt was carried out in an ASK-21 glider. Despite challenging weather windows and variable conditions at altitude, the team executed the attempt flawlessly, with specialist experts observing the feat. Motivated by a competitive spirit and a passion for aerobatic flying, the pilots pursued the record as a personal challenge after seeing footage of the previous record holder online. After reaching altitude, the consecutive loops lasted 10 minutes.
