The fastest-selling PlayStation game is Helldivers 2 (Arrowhead Games, 2024), published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It sold a combined 12 million units on PC and PlayStation in the 12 weeks from its launch on 8 February 2024.
Sony revealed the impressive sales data for Helldivers 2 during an earnings call on 14 May 2024. It beat out other flagship PS games including Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (Insomniac Games, 2023) and God of War: Ragnarok (Santa Monica Studio, 2022). Helldivers 2 benefitted from a lower price tag and from launching on PC as well as PlayStation, allowing cross-play between platforms.
