The most basketballs caught and dunked by a dog in one minute is 16 and was achieved by Simba and Olga Jones (both UK) in Reading, Berkshire, UK, on 14 December 2025.

This Guinness World Records title has not had a record holder until now- thanks to Simba's wit. Olga mentions that ball games are Simba's passion. Once they discovered he has a knack for catching and dunking balls they knew they had to attempt this feat!

The best part is that Simba sees this as just a fun, casual game- mostly since Olga often plays basketball with him.

For this attempt, each ball must be thrown to the dog by the handler, who then catches it in the mouth and dunks it into the hoop, one ball at a time.
