The largest security innovation hackathon is 1,862 at Absher Tuwaiq Hackathon and was achieved by the Tuwaiq Academy (KSA), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 11 December 2025

The Ministry of Interior and Tuwaiq Academy organized the Absher Tuwaiq Hackathon to promote innovation in security technologies and empower Saudi talent in cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation. Attempting this record supported Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives and showcases national leadership in digital innovation. Security innovation refers to the development and implementation of new technologies, strategies, processes, or tools that enhance the protection of people, assets, data, and systems.
