The largest health innovation hackathon consists of 422 participants and was achieved by Health Innovation Hackathon for Hajj and Umrah under the patronage of HH Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud, governor of Jeddah (both KSA) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 31 December 2025
This attempt was the culmination of a 9 month process of screening health innovation ideas from thousands of teams. The shortlist came down to 200 teams, 150 of which participated in the attempt.
