Maharashtra opener Kiran Navgire (India) blitzed a century from just 34 balls against Punjab in a Senior Women’s T20 Trophy match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur, India, on 17 October 2025. Chasing 111 to win, Navgire instigated one of the most remarkable scorecards in T20 history, finishing 106 not out (featuring seven sixes and 14 fours) from 35 balls, with her teammates contributing just seven runs from the 13 balls they faced as Maharashtra raced to 113 for 1 off eight overs (48 balls).

The powerful 31-year-old, who played six T20 Internationals (T20I) for India in September and October 2022, reached her century two balls quicker than New Zealander Sophie Devine’s 36-ball effort for Wellington against Otago at the University Oval in Dunedin, New Zealand, on 14 January 2021. Navgire’s strike rate of 302.86 runs per 100 balls faced is the only women’s T20 hundred to be compiled with a strike rate in excess of 300. The fastest hundred in a T20I belongs to Deandra Dottin (38 balls), for the West Indies against South Africa in Basseterre, St Kitts, on 5 May 2010. Navgire is the only India cricketer, male or female, to score 150 in a T20 innings, doing so for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh in 2022.
