Dominik Kohr received a record-equalling eighth dismissal in the Germany top flight on 20 September 2025, during Mainz’s 4–1 away win at Augsburg. Two of his dismissals were straight red cards, compared with one for Luis Gustavo and five for Jens Nowotny.
