The longest marrow (Cucurbita pepo) measured 1.454 m (4 ft 9.2 in) and was grown by Mark Baggs (UK) as verified at the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship during the Malvern Autumn Show in Worcestershire, UK, on 27 September 2025.

At 111 kg (244 lb 11.4 oz), the massive marrow was about 5 kg (11 lb) short of also claiming the title for heaviest marrow, which was achieved by Vincent Sjodin (UK) with a 116.4-kg (256-lb 9.8-oz) entry to the UK National Giant Vegetables Championship on 23 September 2021.

Showing how supportive and interconnected the growing community is, the seed that Sjodin used to cultivate his record-setting marrow originated from plants grown by Baggs, who formerly set the record for heaviest marrow in 2005 with a 62-kg (136-lb 9-oz) fruit.
