Tallest luffa plant

The tallest luffa (Luffa) plant is 11.672 m (38 ft 3.5 in) and was grown by Graham Barratt (UK) as confirmed at the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship held during the Malvern Autumn Show in Worcestershire, UK, on 26 September 2025.

Earlier in the year, Barratt secured records for the heaviest luffa – 2.82 kg (6 lb 3.5 oz) – and longest luffa – 1.699 m (5 ft 6.8 in) – with both fruits assessed at Wargrave Nursery in Berkshire, UK, on 28 July 2025 and 22 August 2025, respectively.
