Organised by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd, MSEDCL is a government-owned electricity utility, responsible for power distribution across the Indian state of Maharashtra and as part of a state-led renewable energy and rural empowerment initiative, the organisation wanted to coordinate a large-scale installation activity involving farmers across all districts of Maharashtra.
With 4000+ people working on the installations throughout the 30 days and over 1,500+ pumps successfully installed and operational each day, the MSEDCL team set a new GWR title with a super impressive 45,911 solar powered water pumps.
The certificate ceremony followed, where 10,000 attendees got to celebrate alongside the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Devendra Fadnavis who accepted the certificate on behalf of MSEDCL.
