Angelo Mathews (Sri Lanka) played his 34th and final Test match before retirement at Galle International Stadium in Sri Lanka on 17-21 June 2025. In 59 innings since making his Test debut at the venue on 4-7 July 2009, Mathews plundered 2,253 runs there at an average of 44.17 runs per innings, scoring two centuries and 17 fifties.
