The most short track speed skating Olympic medals won by an individual male is eight. This feat was first achieved by Apolo Anton Ohno (USA) from 2002–10. It was thenequalled by Viktor Ahn (South Korea/Russia) from 2006–14. Ahn won three golds and a bronze in 2006 and repeated the feat in 2014.

Ohno won gold and silver in 2002; gold and two bronze in 2006; and silver and two bronze in 2010.
