The most gold medals won by a woman in short track speed skating at the Olympic Games is four and was first achieved by Chun Lee-Kyung (South Korea) from 1994-98. It was equaled by Wang Meng (China) from 2006-10.
Lee-Kyung won the 1,000 m in 1994 & 1998, and the relay in the same years. Wang Meng won the 500 metres gold medal in 2006 before winning three golds at the 2010 Olympic games (500 m, 1000 m and 3000 m relay).
