Netherlands and Nepal contested three super overs at the conclusion of their T20 Tri-Series match at Titwood in Glasgow, UK, on 16 June 2025. In the standard 20-over encounter, Nepal (152 for 8) forced a tie with their opponents (152 for 7) when Nandan Yadav hit the last ball of the 20th over for four. Nepal made 19 for 1 in the first super over, only for Max O’Dowd to smack 10 runs off the fifth and six balls in Netherlands’ 19 for 0. The second tie-breaker went the same way, with Nepal (17 for 0) replying to Netherlands’ 17 for 1 thanks to a final-ball six from Dipendra Singh Airee. Nepal (0 for 2) lost both wickets to Zach Lion-Cachet in super over three, leaving Dutch batter Michael Levitt – needing just a single – to send the first ball over the ropes for six to finish the game in the most dramatic of circumstances.

The Scotland T20 Tri-Series 2025 also featured the hosts, who had defeated Netherlands in the first match of the tournament the day before the two visiting teams served up their three-super-over thriller.
