Johannes Høsflot Klæbo made history at the 2026 Winter Olympics, winning all six cross-country skiing events to take his overall tally of gold medals to 11. This was the second-highest total by any athlete across both Summer and Winter Games, behind only swimmer Michael Phelps, who won 23. Klæbo claimed three golds in Pyeongchang in 2018 and two in Beijing in 2022, when he also won a silver and a bronze medal.
