Most videogame appearances by a real person

Shaquille O’Neal (USA) broke a lot of records as a basketball player, but hasn’t stopped making new ones since his 2011 retirement. Shaq has continued to appear in nearly every basketball videogame. From NBA Jam (Midway, 1993), to NBA 2K25 (Visual Concepts, 2024), the four-time NBA champion appeared in 98 games in total.

This total includes his own fighting games: Shaq Fu (Delphine Software, 1995) and its sequel Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn (Mad Dog Games, 2018).
