Cruise is a licensed skydiver and is known for performing remarkable stunts. The jumps were completed during the filming of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning using parachutes pre-soaked with fuel which would set ablaze after Cruise jumped from a helicopter at around 7,500 ft. After burning to complete disintegration, Cruise would cut away the burned parachute and deploy a second, before safely landing.
