The largest attendance at a parent-teacher meeting (multiple venues) is 5,234,863 and was achieved by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh (India), in Andhra Pradesh, India on 10 July 2025.

The attempt/event was termed as MEGA PTM 2.0 and took place on 10 July 2025. The state of Andhra Pradesh is bringing about a new era in public education and is committed to transforming its education system into one that is inclusive, equitable and future-ready. MEGA PTM 2.0 was one of its initiatives and took place across 60,543 schools and junior colleges cover an area of 162,975 kms, covering K1 to K12 with 5,031,147 parents and 203,716 teachers resulting in a record total of 5,234,863 participants.

Many parents still choose private schools, often unaware of the upgrades in government institutions, from smart classrooms to qualified teachers. In order to bring about a change in this perspective the state conducts 2 MEGA PTMs every year to review the progress of learning, teaching and development. Interaction with parents lead to a better understanding of the government educational infrastructure and how it can be beneficial for the children.
