The youngest TEDx speaker (male) is Bennett Haried (USA, b. 31 December 2018), who was aged 4 years 296 days when he gave a talk at Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA, on 23 October 2023.

In his talk named Building Big Dreams: You Have to Make It Stable, Haried began by discussing his love for building towers from LEGO® bricks, wooden blocks and even spaghetti. He used this anecdote to emphasize that imaginative kids are capable of persevering through challenges and coming up with clever ideas because they have the ability to “dream the impossible”.

”Kids are like superheroes,” he said. “They are powerful and their ideas can be amazing.”
