On 8 February 2024, “Sunflower”, by US rappers/singers Post Malone (b. Austin Post) and Swae Lee (b. Khalif Brown), was announced as the first single to be certified “double-Diamond” – awarded for US sales (including on-demand audio/video streaming-equivalent units) of 20 million – by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Taken from the soundtrack to the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (USA/Canada, 2018) and later added to Post Malone’s third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding, “Sunflower” was already among an unprecedented eight RIAA Diamond-certified singles for the tattooed entertainer, alongside “Rockstar” (feat. 21 Savage), “Congratulations” (feat. Quavo), “Psycho” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign), “White Iverson”, “Better Now”, “Circles” and “I Fall Apart”.

Post Malone had registered 47 Gold (500,000 units), 47 Platinum (1 million) and 17 multi-Platinum (2 million+) singles – with total RIAA-certified singles sales of 142 million – as of 19 March 2025.
