Two rollercoasters share this record, both with a height of 56 m (183 ft 9.6 in). T Express, located in the Everland theme park in Yongin-si, South Korea, opened to the public on 14 March 2008. Wildfire is situated in Kolmården Wildlife Park in Kolmården, Norrköping, Östergötland, Sweden. It opened on 28 June 2016, closed temporarily while environmental concerns were addressed and reopened in June 2017 .

When it was built, T-Express was only the second-tallest wooden roller coaster, behind Son of Beast – a 66.4-m (218-ft) roller coaster at King's Island in Mason, Ohio, USA. Son of Beast accepted its last paying customers in June 2009, however, and was demolished in 2012 to make room for Banshee (the longest inverted roller coaster).
