South Korean boy band SEVENTEEN were K-pop’s highest-grossing touring act of 2024, raking in $98.4 million (£77.2 million) from ticket sales of 865,000 for the last 24 stops on their 28-date SEVENTEEN TOUR FOLLOW (23 November 2023 to 26 May 2024) that fell within Billboard Boxscore’s 2024 tracking period. Rappers S.Coups (group/hip-hop unit leader), Mingyu, Vernon and Wonwoo, vocalists Woozi (vocal unit leader), DK, Jeonghan, Joshua and Seungkwan, and performers/dancers/vocalists Hoshi (performance unit leader), Dino, Jun and The8 took their tour to Japan, Thailand, Philippines, China and their home country, finishing with a double-header at International Stadium Yokohama (aka Nissan Stadium) in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, that alone made $13.7 million (£10.7 million) from ticket sales of 142,000.
Fellow K-pop boy bands ENHYPHEN ($63 million, or £47.9 million, from 36 shows on their Fate World Tour) and TOMORROW X TOGETHER ($58.1 million, or £44.2 million, from 26 shows on their Act: Sweet Mirage and Act: Promise tours) were ranked second and third, respectively, by Billboard Boxscore for 2024.
The figures are based on shows reported to Billboard Boxscore that fell within their tracking period of 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024, thus excluding SEVENTEEN TOUR FOLLOW’s first four dates (21–22 July and 6–7 September 2023) and all of the first 22 dates of their SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR that kicked off on 12 October 2024 that were performed in the calendar year 2024, which would have increased the group’s annual touring gross considerably. Across all genres, K-pop’s highest-grossing tour of 2024 was ranked 31st overall.
