The largest art gallery dedicated to street/urban art is the STRAAT Museum, an 8,000-m2 (86,000-sq-ft) converted shipbuilding warehouse located in Amsterdam-Noord, Netherlands. Opened in October 2020, its permanent collection boasts some 180 artworks by more than 170 international graffiti/street artists, in addition to temporary rolling exhibitions.

The giant artworks – some of which measure up to 15 x 7 m (49 x 23 ft) – were all created on site by some of the most celebrated names in the street-art genre including Royyal Dog (aka Chris Changyang Shim), Guido van Helten, Eduardo Cobra, Chris Dyer, Farid Rueda and Monkey Bird. The pieces are mainly created with spray paint on polyester canvases, but within the collection there are also some sculptures and more unusual objects used as a surface, including a truck suspended on chains from the rafters!

The curator of the STRAAT Museum is David Roos.
