The most asphalt/bituminous concrete continuously laid is 24,109.06 cubic metres (851,403.4 cubic feet) and was achieved by Rajpath Infracon Pvt. Ltd. And Jagdish Kadam (both India), on a Greenfield highway, from Bengaluru to Vijayawada, in Andhra Pradesh, India from 5 to 11 January 2026.

This attempt was one of 4 distinct Guinness World Records attempts. As part of laying the final layer of a new 3 lane highway, the attempts started on 5 January and finished on 11 January. Made under Indian national standards for road building, the top layer was continuously laid without stopping or without gaps throughout the exercise. The highway was being newly constructed as part of linking 2 major logistics hubs in the region.
