The most singles titles won by a male professional pickleball player is 40, by Ben Johns (USA) between 13 February 2020 and 6 October 2024.
His latest victory came at the Stratusphere Gin Virginia Beach Cup in Virginia, USA, where he defeated Hunter Johnson in the final 11-5, 11-9.
The only person to have accrued more singles pickleball titles on the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour is 17-year-old Anna Leigh Waters (USA), who surpassed Johns at the 2024 Las Vegas Pickleball Cup on 1 September 2024; as of 6 October 2024, Waters' tally stood at 43 singles titles. The indomitable Waters and Johns have had record-breaking success as a double act too, racking up an unprecedented winning streak of 16 mixed-doubles titles between March 2023 and February 2024.
A total of 141 combined titles in singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles means that Johns has the most titles overall for any pro player as of 13 October 2024, though Waters is not far behind with a combined 128 PPA titles.
