As part of Mwani Qatar’s commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, this record attempt aimed to support Qatar’s ecological initiatives by relocating a large number of mangrove trees to enhance coastal ecosystems and promote biodiversity. The project, which ran from 2012 to 2017, involved extensive logistical planning, including the selection of suitable relocation sites, collaboration with environmental experts, and the use of specialized equipment to ensure the safe transfer of mangroves without damage. The record was measured by the total number of mangrove trees successfully relocated.
