The most consecutive regular season games recording at least one strikeout by a Major League Baseball (MLB) starting pitcher is 423, achieved by Clayton Kershaw while pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers (both USA) since the 2008 season. The record streak ended when the Dodgers’ left-hander pitched only 3 2/3 innings and failed to record a strikeout in a regular season start against the San Diego Padres on 31 July 2024.

Kershaw’s 423 straight starts with at least one strikeout is MLB’s longest since 1893, the year the mound was moved to its current distance of 60 feet 6 inches (18.44 m).

The second most consecutive regular season games recording at least one strikeout by a starting pitcher is 411, by Tom Seaver.
