The highest capacity single-operator concentrated solar power plant is 700 MW and was achieved by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) (UAE), in Dubai, UAE in April 2024.

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has made an extraordinary leap in sustainable energy by achieving the highest capacity single-operator concentrated solar power (CSP) plant, with a groundbreaking 700 MW capacity.

As part of the Mohamed Bin Rashid Solar Park, this 700 MW plant represents a bold step toward realizing Dubai's Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and DEWA’s goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050. The project underscores the immense potential of solar power to meet the growing energy demands of the future while minimizing environmental impact.
