First held in 2003, the Homeless World Cup is an annual tournament consisting of four-a-side matches with rolling substitutions. Each half lasts seven minutes. Mexico’s men secured a record-extending fifth triumph in 2024, following a thrilling 6–5 win over England in the final, played on 28 September in Seoul, South Korea. Alan Eduardo Posada Salas scored the winner in the dying moments of the game.
