The Australian Bicentennial National Trail is the longest marked horse trekking trail in the world at 5,330 km (3,312 miles). It winds through wilderness areas from Cooktown in North Queensland to Healesville in Victoria following historic coach and stock routes, pack horse trails and country roads.
