The youngest person to climb the Seven Summits and the Seven Volcanic Summits (female) is 33 years 216 days and was achieved by Iulia Jaso and Delia Wookey (both Romania, b. 25 October 1988), in Amol, Iran, on 29 May 2022.

Iulia and Delia are twins (née. Zanoschi) and chose to attempt this challenge together. Their very first expedition began on October 2017 when the sisters decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania). Over the next five years, they climbed the Seven Summits and Seven Volcanic Summits, including Mount Everest (Nepal).

The twins hope this successful achievement will inspire young women around the world achieve extraordinary feats of physical endurance and perseverance. This record attempt is significant as it showcases their passion for mountaineering and breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated sport.
