Youngest artist to reach No.1 on the Billboard Arabia Hot 100 chart (male)

Al Shami (Syria, b. Abdul Rahman Fawaz, 2 June 2002) was 22 years 55 days old when “Wein” (“Where”) debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Arabic Hot 100 on 27 July 2024.

At the same time, “Wein” propelled Al Shami to the top of Billboard’s sister chart, the Arabic Artist 100, where he is also the youngest male artist to reach No.1.

As of 2 May 2026, Al Shami had spent a total of 14 weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Arabic Hot 100, with three different songs: “Wein” (seven weeks from 27 July 2024), “Dwali” (one week – 5 October 2024) and “Doctor” (six weeks from 1 February 2025).
